We could not do camp or club mentoring without our wonderful volunteers. There is love and unity when we all come together with one purpose in making a difference in a child’s life. There are many ways YOU can become involved with Royal Family KIDS Camp and Mentoring Club. You can get involved with our camp, whether it be going to camp for the week or for a day/evening, helping behind the scenes, praying, or just donating to help us financially. You do not have to be a part of our sponsoring church Mountain View Christian Assembly of God, we have many different churches and faiths who volunteer for camp. A successful camp experience for the children depends on multiple individuals filling various volunteer positions for the CAMP week, and monthly mentoring club. We are blessed as we serve and invite you to join our camp in Utah.

Camp Positions Available

Camp Counselors Staff

For every counselor willing to spend the entire week at camp, another camper is able to attend. Training is mandatory. Counselors arrive at camp the day before the campers to prepare the cabins and welcome the campers as they arrive. Each counselor is responsible for two campers in order to provide the very best care for our campers. One assistant counselor works with every two regular counselors.

Registration Staff

Registration is helping the first day with the kiddos check in. Responsibilities are to welcome them and help them feel comfortable, check in their items, give them their name tags, and supervise them until their departure for camp. It’s a fun time where you see the kids excitement as they prepare for camp.

Kitchen Staff

Food is a must at camp with all the energy and fun that we have. Kitchen help can be a whole week at camp or it can be a day at camp. Don’t worry we have a wonderful kitchen chief who will do all the planning but he does need help. Kitchen responsibilities includes help in preparing the food, setting up the tables, cleaning up and washing dishes.

Welcome Home Staff

After a week of camp it’s hard to say goodbye. A welcome home dinner for the staff is critical to debrief on the year of camp and thank our volunteers. Welcome Home volunteer is a one day position, responsibilities include decorating and setting up for the meal. You get to hear stories of camp and watch as the volunteers are recognized for their years of service.

Camp Staff

There are many positions needing to be filled every year. Positions that require a week at camp and positions that are just a day of camp. Positions of night relief, nurse care, birthday party, tea party, lifeguard for swimming, record keeping, and fundraising. If you are interested in being a part of a wonderful opportunity to serve God and be the hands and feet of Jesus then please come join us.

Thank You…

For helping the neglected, abused, and abandoned children of Utah enjoy a week of unconditional love and acceptance. Your gift of time, talent, or money can help change the lives of these hurting children. No donation of time or financial support is too small to make a big difference and answer the questions, “Am I loved”, “Do I matter”.
